The foundation for betterment of education and culture “Source of Hope” invites you to the lecture titled “Kur’an – Book of the future” by doc. Dr. Mirza Sarajkić, phd. of literature and history at the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo.

The lecture will take place on December 18th 2018. (Tuesday) at 19:00h in the “Source of Hope” student dormitory (Butmirska cesta 18d Ilidža).

Mirza Sarajkić was born in Prijedor in the year 1980. He finished high school in Behram-beg Madrasah in Tuzla. After high school, he enrolled a two-subject study at the Department of Oriental Philology and the Department of Anglistics, where he acquired the degrees of Professor of Arab and English languages, and their corresponding literatures. After finishing his studies in the year 2004. He got hired as an Assistant at the Department of Oriental Philology in subjects from the Arab literature field, where he remains to this day in the role of Senior Assistant. In the year 2009. He acquires the title of Master of Literature and history by successfully defending the thesis about the heritage of Bosniaks in Oriental languages titled “Gazels of Ahmed Hatem Bjelopoljak in Arabic language”. He acquired his phd. With the topic “Poetics of Palestinian resistance poetry in the works of Mahmud Derviš”.

Sarajkić is active in the teaching process with the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo, as well as in the field of translation from Arabic, and English to Bosnian. He is the author of book translations from different fields, some of which were published by the “Center for advanced studies”.
